Hippopotamus Extravaganza!

Hello. My name is Ben Newman, and welcome to the Hippo Extravaganza!

If I am being honest with myself, I have not been a hippo fan for very long, but after looking at these magnificent sea cows, I can definitely say that I do not hate them.

Here are some quick facts about the Hippopotamus

• Hippos can be found in many places around Africa, their native continent
• They are aquatic mammals
• They are massive, averaging 11 feet in length and 5 feet in height when fully grown
• They have huge mouths, the jaw of a hippo can open 150 degrees (you might have seen a video of a hippo eating a watermelon, showing off this cool feature)!
